Sooo many Soldiers doing so many great things across the Army! ~R1.
SFC April Cromartie of Fort Jackson is no stranger to the All-Army Sports Program. She has been a member of the Women’s basketball program for 6 seasons and stood out both on and off the court. The All-Army Sports Program allows Soldier athletes to be mentally agile and provides the opportunity to work with Soldiers from all walks of life that share a common goal. It also allows for the opportunity to work as a team, learn to put issues aside to accomplish a goal and build lifelong friendships. “Over the years the opportunities to play All-Army Basketball has shown me the different coaches and their leadership styles. As well as team members that have fostered growth and allowed me to thrive as a player, athlete, and Soldier. Being an active member of the basketball team for 8 years I have developed the mental toughness such as self-regulation, self-control, and mental agility to enhance my performance as a team member and as a soldier.” SFC Cromartie
