Another Day In The Office! Working hard on developing these shoulders and leaning out for what’s shaping up to be a big summer! After this workout, I could barely lift my arms. Here’s the breakdown 🔥Hammer Strength Rear Delt Pulls: 4 sets 15 reps
🔥Standing Military Press: 4 sets 10-15 reps
🔥Dumbbell Laterals: 3 reg sets, 4th set is a Drop Set (shown)
🔥Standing Reverse Dumbbell Fly superset w/ Dumbbell Front Raises: 4 sets 10-12 reps
On this day, the Project 1 kicked in right before I began training. Taking Project 1 while I’m leaning out allows me to still feel strong during my sessions. And the BCAA’s carry me through once the session goes deeper into dark mode (anything beyond 1.5 hours). This workout didn’t see a bunch of heavy weights being moved due to the change in style. I’m incorporating more Drop Sets, more Supersets, and more Reps with less rest time and less poundage on my joints and tendons. Hope this workout helps you. Hit me if you have any questions. ~Ty #iam1stphorm#legionofboom#GoHard365

Have you ever stopped to think about this:
Every person you’re arguing, beefing, or fighting with right now will die soon.
The same rules apply for every person you like, love, and adore being around.
The Horse and the Jockey, The Celebrity and the person driving them around, The faithful and the cheater, all have the exact fate awaiting them.
We All Return to that which we came.
This message isn’t to scare you, this message is to bring some awareness to you.
Most of the stuff we worry over, fight over, care about, argue over, lust for, want, have no real connection with humanity. They add no true value to our lives.
Yet we spend the majority of our time on this planet chasing these things, placing the importance of pleasure above truth, and being jealous and envious of those who hold possession of the things we believe will bring us to abyss.
It’s all in the mind.
To hate a person because of the color of their skin. To dislike a person because of their views. To judge a person based on their mistakes. To chase after something that loses value, None of this makes sense.
You are not smarter than he or she. Nor am I. Even the person know seeks truth and knowledge is nothing more than a small piece of a much larger puzzle. Be grateful for 1: being able to win the race towards becoming a piece of the puzzle and 2) your piece is what it is and located where it’s located on the board.
We’re all connected in some way, shape, form. We’re all animals who’ve evolved overtime. Life in itself is short lived and while you’re eligible to see the sun rise and set, be grateful and work towards helping others. Getting upset at someone or hating someone for not having the same as you only reflects as you hating yourself. People who respect humanity, people who respect the universe, people who respect LOVE, are filled with an infinite intelligence that carries them along no matter what room they’re in or who they’re around.
WE ARE ONE. LOVE TO ALL. ~Ty
Another Day In The Office! Time for some TRUTH.
Today is my first time training since Friday. During that workout with @realworld_tactical@nodonutshere and @derekweida , I experienced something crazy on my last set. I’ve been Weight training for over 15 years now, and this was the first time I’ve ever experienced my CNS shut down during my workout.
Crazier is the fact that it happened while I had 475 on the Flat Bench! 😱 How did I know my CNS shut down? As soon as I took the weight into my own hands, I felt a crazy wave flow through my body, and the weight felt way heavier than normal. Much heavier than when I did 500. I knew I wasn’t gonna be able to move the weight but I attempted it anyway. The weight didn’t budge on the second attempt.
I was done!
When I think about it, for the last 6+ years, I’ve benched pressed at least 405 for reps EVERY SINGLE CHEST DAY with the exception of 1 or 2 workouts. Even when I was Vegan for 2 months, I was still benching 405 for 5 reps. I’ve never stopped to think about it in that manner. That’s a lot of pressure and poundage on ones central nervous system.
So my conclusion is to scale back a bit and be smarter with my training and developing my physique. Although I love being strong, I’m no longer interested in being the biggest guy. The most important thing for me is longevity. I see so many people who have slowed down or stopped training the way they once did once they reach the age of 35. My goal is to never allow that to become me.
I’ll elaborate more on this in post to come, but today’s workout was a giant set on the shoulders. Enjoy
Standing Military Press (front and rear), Front Plate Raises, Reverse Dumbbell Fly: 4 sets 10 reps a piece.
Look at my eyes....tired, weary, but excited STILL! There’s a love for training and learning that’ll never die no matter my circumstances. On this particular day, I was afforded the opportunity to train and converse with my bro @realworld_tactical over the weekend. Always a great opportunity that I’ll never pass on. Tony’s one of, if not THE, strongest dudes in the fitness industry. But not only is he super strong, he’s extremely knowledgeable in more areas than just training and he’s always willing to pass off some of the knowledge he’s accumulated throughout the years. Of course training with him, you’re gonna experience some pain, but with that pain comes progress for sure. I have a ton of videos from the weekend in which we pushed each other and really chopped it up like iron warriors commonly do. Thanks for the great sessions and always great conversations my brother. We’ll be back at it soon. Also, stay tuned for some pretty dope content from this session and the other intense sessions from this past weekend. 👊🏾💯 #iam1stphorm#legionofboom#positivevibesonly#BrotherHood#realworldtactical#gohard365

Another Day In The Office! High Volume chest workout and threw in some bicep curls to keep the arms guessing and growing. Here’s the breakdown
1) Flat Bench Press: 6 set pyramid: 225 x20, 315 x12, 405 x5, 455 x1, 405 x3 Pause Reps
2) Incline Dumbbell Fly: 4 sets x10
3) Standing Dumbbell Curls w/ Fat Gripz: 3 sets x10
4) Standing Hammer Curls w/ Fat Gripz: 3 sets x10
5) Decline Hammer Strength: 4 sets x20
I’ll post the full video of 455 almost kicking my ass on my IGTV. But of course we went back in and moved her right up. It’s only considered a failure if you QUIT! So when you don’t complete a lift in the gym, don’t give up. Dust yourself off and go back into the fire! And if you can’t get it that day, go home and prepare yourself to come back next week, and the following week, and the following week again until you WIN! Happy Chest Day folks! 💪🏾
