Abs are made in the kitchen🍽 and it’s true. To get abs you don’t have do anything! Really we all have abs but most of the time they are hidden by fat on the mid section. To reveal those washboard abs you have to get your body fat to certain level and be eating in a calorie deficit. At the moment I’m eating in a surplus and you can’t see many abs put it that way but to gain muscle efficiently you’ve got to eat in a calorie surplus. So I don’t care I can’t see my abs. If your goal is to get a six pack then you really have to clean up your diet🥦🍗🍰,be in a calorie deficit, exercising regularly so you’re burning off more than you’re eating. Cardio❤️❤️🚴‍♀️not my favourite part of training but I must say but it does have its benefits! I do cardio on a rest day, only 20 mins on a stationary bike. Nothing too difficult and intense. I find it helps with my cardiovascular fitness. This helps with your fitness when lifting weights as well. You might get that extra rep out. We all know cardio is good for the old ticker so it’s good to do something. Choose something you enjoy and you’ll stick to it. If you don’t like bikes, treadmills, rowing machines or any other equipment do something else that gets your heart rate up. ❤️If you like walking go for a walk, if you like running go for a jog. Most mornings this is my breakfast. Looks boring I know, buts it’s quick and simple and does the job. 😊 Oats, full fat milk, strawberry whey protein(you can have any flavour whey protein you want and there are so many out there) and honey. Oats are a carbohydrate and will give us slow realising energy throughout the day and keep us full. The whey protein is needed if our goal is building muscle or losing fat. We all know we need protein in both cases. You should be having protein in all your meals. 💪🏻 I add the honey just to sweeten it up a bit more and the full fat milk🥛 is high in calories and this is good if you’re goal is bulking. Training in this heat is unreal🔥🔥 Here I’m doing a Bulgarian split squat, a great unilateral exercise if you have one leg bigger than the other. - Put foot behind you on bench so it’s comfortable. - With other foot in front go down so knee is parallel with hip or just below. My legs were dead by this point. Shoot back up without locking knee out. If you want to target your upper chest, do movements where you’re on an incline. This is the incline bench press on smith machine.
