For more details go to I was never interested in following a classic school curriculum and decided to join a catering college instead at 16 years old. The thing that attracted me the most towards the hospitality industry was that it was very different and I felt I was going to do a special-something that most people could not do… and so far so good! I love the fact that I can travel, work late, meet so many different exciting people and work in an industry where I am able to give pleasure to others, be creative and most importantly be myself. At 20 years old I arrived in the UK in July 1992 and worked as a waiter for two years at La Tante Claire and Le Gavroche. From there my career took off because if you do well and show potential you get recommended to others. It has always been my philosophy to work with the best and to do my best always (it does rub off). I believe in hard work and in the beauty of discipline to achieve one’s goal. There has never been a more exciting time to join the hospitality industry - there are opportunities everywhere for those who want them and those who are prepared to do what it takes. Great ending to a great weekendπŸΈπŸŽ‚


Just a short recap of a recent visit to Galvin at Windows. So let’s start with the first impression which was actually not the best as the restaurant is based in Hilton hotel which let’s be honest as all of Hilton hotels right now is very old and outdated. I can understand that they chose the location because of the view, but you don’t feel being in a luxury cool environment at all. I should say the interior of the restaurant kind of matches the hotel, also does not impress with new designs and sophisticated looks, so this is a minus. So, basically when you enter, you start to fear the worst that the food will be as primitive and sad as the design around. But but but it’s wrong as the food and service is just superb! I especially liked that everyone out of staff without exception was saying hello and I could feel they were trying to please us at their best ability. We had a lunch menu at Β£55 which is definitely worth the price. The starter was a raw fish with a spicy sauce, very fresh but at the same time with a hint of chilly, the main course was fish for me with a pork tempura and a delicious sauce again and the dessert was panna cotta, I have tried dozens of them as this is my favourite dessert and hats off this one was one of the best. Light, not too sweet, the sorbet was just amazing! All in all, I would definitely recommend and come back.
