IRELAND ON MY MIND: One day I’ll get to see Ireland’s green & orange flying on its own soil. Everyday through the month of April I just had to get outside and wander around out in this area, it was just so beautiful! the way I imagine Ireland to be. Each day was so different and on this particular day, here was a spectacular surprise. I was out on Zaca Station Road & Foxen Canyon Road when the clouds opened a window for the sun to shine through you can easily see the beauty of the Santa Ynez Valley area. In fact, so beautiful I almost can not comprehend what I have been so fortunate to have seen. This days sunset displayed not only color but texture. The vibrantly contrasted firey oranges against intense Kelly greens between flowers and grasses, then yellow calls out to create this gorgeous palette of color. As if that wasn’t enough, there is a light and feathery texture, making the clouds look airbrushed in, against the hard edges of the land itself. This may be one of my favs. Too bad I don’t have better capability in my lens. This Sony gal is working on it though and soon I will capture these moments as they should be captured!
