Can we use graphic design to love people better? I was recently hired by my sister last minute to think of a gift for her boyfriend, Ed. I suggested a “boyfriend deck”. Ed is a big, fun-loving guy who, according to my sister, LOVES meaningful, well thought-out gifts. She gave me a list of his favorite couple past-times, among which were AirBNB staycations, watching plays, and Silantro dates. I quickly made some illustrations of their date scenarios and turned them into cards. Without looking, Ed got to pick his gift. My sister said he loved it so much he picked two! 😂😂😂
My close friends know it’s been my long-time dream to build a design studio that caters not only to companies but to the everyday people. I’ve been long contemplating on the idea of using art and design to deepen relationships. After all, the gift of experience can be the most priceless and cherished kind. So I’m opening my studio to those of you who think your loved ones deserve something more memorable and personalized. This specific service will be under my #BigLove beta run. PS. A lot of people have been asking me if they can borrow this gift idea. While we do not mind it, we request for an attribution as originators. Otherwise, if you’d like something more personalized and more original than this one, you can hire us! 😃💚
