These Appalachian mountains have held us for 25 years this year. We just took on 7 (!) new interns who desire to learn the art and science of herbal medicines. In the last few months we’ve quietly released several new extracts, salts, teas, oils, and balms new to the apothecary. This is a year of milestones in many ways. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~These Dupont State Forest waterfalls - not too many miles from our main wildcrafting and growing hub - are forever. Twenty five years seems a literal drop in the river in comparison. The plants we work with and adore - and also those that are scarce and that we choose not to work with on a physical level - are forever integral to the tapestry of these beloved mountains.
