🍒Make sure you’re careful when exposing your hair to protein. As I said before, not everyone’s hair needs protein. 🍒Low porosity hair is more prone to build up and doesn’t need as much protein as someone with medium to high porosity. Too much protein on low porosity hair can actually cause reverse effect making hair extremely dry and brittle.
🍒ALSO, make sure you know what ingredients are in the products you’re using. Not every product is the same. Some have high protein, some have some, and some have none. So make sure to lead labels and ingredients so you know what you’re putting in your hair. Low porosity should steer clear of protein packed products. Just because a product is natural, doesn’t mean it necessarily for your hair.
