Had a good cheatmeal last Saturday night after 55 days of strict diet. 2 burgers, 1 large fries, 1 Coke Zero, 3 scoop of ice creams! This instruction was given by my coach. He asked me to eat exactly these and even he told me where to eat them!
WHAT IS CHEATMEAL?!
A cheat meal is often also referred to as a ‘refeed’ which is basically a surplus of calories (usually higher in carbohydrates and fats) that can be eaten!
When used correctly, a cheat meal can help reset hormones responsible for metabolism and insulin regulation, replenish our glycogen stores for increased energy, and keep our calorie burning and fat utilisation the number one priority. Once a cheat meal is consumed, the increase in metabolism can last for several days after your body digests it, offsetting the drop in hormones that occurs when the calorie deficit is resumed once more.
Having a cheatmeal after 55 days of clean diet & less amount of food was not easy! I struggled so much to finish those burgers fries and ice creams! Will upload the full video of my cheatmeal tomorrow in IGTV!
