Ok so I thought I would do a little write up on my horse situation.
So iv always had something to do with horses I started riding from a young age and had a passion for it, the only thing I wanted to put my heart into was horses.
I didn’t buy my first horse that I owned fully until I was 25 I brought Vicktor for my 25th birthday. I absolutely loved him, but he was hard work, I kept vicktor for about 4 years but Ultimately he was way to much horse for me and I had to make the decision to part ways with him. I had children, Magnus was only a few months old and I kept having falls and his behaviour out and about was too dangerous for me to end up getting seriously hurt with two small children. He went to an absolute dream of an owner where again he wants for nothing, I’m in touch with his owners and see regular pictures etc and he’s doing really well, it still breaks my heart to see him with someone else but he’s honestly gone to the best home,
So after Vicktor I had about a 6 month break where I was looking for a new horse and taking some time for my self,
Then I brought Ghost, I was enjoying my time with Ghost but he was very different to Vicktor, and I was finding hard to bond with him, he wasn’t the best on the ground and you had to be very careful that you didn’t get a jab with the back leg whilst brushing the back end, to ride he was really good and he would go out on his own and I was loving taking him out and about, but I still didn’t feel like I had that connection with him, I ended up keeping him for about 5/6 months and then I sold him on, again he’s gone to a lovely home about 45 minutes from where I live, again I’m still in touch with the new owners via Facebook.
At this point in my life I would love to have another horse but with the two children and a lot of work things going on at the moment I just don’t know how I would fit it all in again.
I want to start looking again next year for another equine but again it’s a long process and I don’t want to make the mistake of rushing into anything and not getting on with the horse 100% my next horse I just need to be an easy to do horse in all ways, and more of a heavy breed instead of so fine l
