Caught this girl critiquing herself, which we all do, and this brings me to today’s value tip. • Today’s tip is if you look in the mirror everyday and DO NOT like what you see, that is ok. It is also ok if you DO like what you see. What is NOT ok is if you assume that what you see in the mirror DETERMINES whether you like what you see or not. • You should be able to like ANY phase of your physique that you are in. If you do not have this skill - yes this is a learned SKILL that takes some practice - you will NEVER be happy with what you see. • There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for when looking in the mirror... ✅ The natural strengths you have that make you unique and special with a physique that no one else has (curves, length, tone, etc in certain areas) ✅ Physical strength, which allows you to build muscle and get lean faster than others ✅ Too much fat for your preference - you could naturally be thin regardless of what you eat - leading to disregard for your health and no motivation to improve - extra fat is your motivation to get better and live a happier, longer life - be thankful for this ✅ Naturally thin - you have the opportunity to learn to get stronger, accentuate some different curves, or compete in athletics that others may not be capable of • I could easily triple the length of that list, because I have DEVELOPED this SKILL • The AMAZING 😀 thing is, when you learn this skill, you can love what you have, therefore RAISING ⬆️ your energy, increasing your metabolism, opening the door for others to love you more, give you EVEN MORE motivation, and bring INCREDIBLE results to your life like you never knew before. Back in business

Common misconception: "lifting weights will make you 'bulky"". The truth behind it: If you lift weights AND carry some extra fat, you will probably look "bulky". **I'm aware that most of you don't want to look like this ^^ and that's okay.** In order for me to attain my goals, I have to spend some time in this "bulky" phase. You may see "manly arms", or "linebacker shoulders", but what you don't see are the hours spent pushing and pulling a bar just to prove to myself that I can. What you don't see is the sweat pooling in my eyes as I grind out that last sprint up the hill. What you don't see is my frustration in those months where I am pushing my body to its limits, and looking in the mirror thinking "I'm too big. I'm too bloated. I don't even look like I workout". I lift to shut that voice up. I, naturally, (i.e. before I lifted weights, and now) carry a disproportionate amount of fat in my upper body. Many women are the opposite, giving them a pear shape. I have more of an upside down triangle shape. Though I have busted my ass (literally) to gain mass in my lower body. I have had people say they don't want to get "big arms" or get "bulky" like me. In 7th grade, a male friend of mine said when I crossed my arms, my biceps looked "huge". Yeah not the best compliment for a 12 year old girl😅. When I receive a compliment about my body, it is usually, "you look strong", or "you're built". It has taken me a long time to be okay with this. No one means any harm by these things, and I try to embrace my "different" body more every day. It is still hard. I still have days where I want my arms to be smaller, days where I want my traps to go away. But I persist because this is who I am. This is what I was given. Some of you may have noticed I've been posting about my fat loss. It has been slow, very slow, but because of this, I am able to retain muscle. And that is what I want. Because every time that little voice says, "Just eat even less. ¡¡LIFE UPDATE!! Hi 👋🏽 I’m alive and well 🤗 Life is in a HUGE season of change in every applicable way right now and I’m making it through and making the most of it. Here’s a little breakdown for those of you curious: . How’s work!? 🛫 I love the job!!! I DON’T love being on reserve in a city where my people aren’t, and commuting. But I said I’d go anywhere and be flexible so here I am, doing just that!! It’s not all glamorous but man am I lucky for the opportunity. I know the best is yet to come and every day, and month is different. Hoping for a transfer to Seattle sooner than later but in the meantime, I tried a crash pad for a couple months in San Francisco and and going to try commuting from my aunts starting next month! Wish me luck 🤞🏽 . How’s wedding planning!? 👰🏽🤵🏻 We just booked the venue TODAY and the date is official! 10.24.2020 here we come! #ToastingTheTaylors2020  🥰 Other than that honestly, nothing is set in stone but I’m making progress in knowing what I want! . Living with my mom for the rest of this year and getting as much family and friend time in as I can before we move!!! . How much we do depends on how much we think we can do. - If you put a cap on what you think you can accomplish, you will never reach your full potential. - This used to be me. I’ve been there. I didn’t think I could do an OCR, I didn’t think I can ever have a job I loved, I didn’t think I could go over s week without a cheat meal, or do some type of exercise every single day. - But the moment I started actually believing I could was when I accomplished all of those things and more. - Fear is conquered by action. - Start thinking bigger and if you truly believe, action will follow and results follow consistent action. - (PS- Working on my boxing skills, form and movement.. and OBVIOUSLY my camera placement😂🤦🏼‍♀️)

Since we landed back in Prague at midnight, we managed to get a good night sleep, reunite with our furry baby Kuba 🐶 (who spent the 10 days with grandma and a doggy 'cousin' so definitely no complaints from him), see my sister at her coffee shop for a chat and coffee ☕ AND I got my first workout of this week in at the end of the day - lower body (month 2) from the #unicornstrongchallenge  . It felt sooo good to lift some weights after our vacation and to be back to what has become my 'normal' routine 💪😍 .
