Do you struggle with sleep? I’ve been working really hard to get back on schedule as I get back to the swing of full time work next week. Thus far it’s gone pretty well. Here’s what I’ve done:
🔅Get to bed on time every night
🔅Turn ALL screens off an hour before bed (this is especially important for children: google search “screen time before bed” for research). This is a tough one for me, I loooove my Netflix. 📲 🔅Before falling asleep tell myself “I am going to wake up feeling rejuvenated and refreshed”. Even if this sounds dumb to you now, do it. (Read: Miracle Morning). 🔅if I find my mind racing like it’s going to keep me up, do a breathing mediation (see my igtv for exactly what I do)
🔅Drink a calming or sleep tea about an hour before bed
🔅Rub doTERRA’s Serenity and Balance blends on the bottoms of both feet right before bed (this stuff is seriously magic for me)
🔅Get my needed nutrients DAILY, send me a message if you’d like more info on how I make this happen every day or SWIPE LEFT.
🔅Because I’ve been sleeping in all summer, a week ago I started waking up 10 minutes earlier every day until hitting the achieved time. 👍
I can’t remember who but someone once said about sleep, “I tell myself, lying here worrying isn’t solving any of these problems, take some deep breaths and rest and you will solve them tomorrow.” Sleep is absolutely essential to living. It’s when our body repairs itself! What sleep tricks do you use to enhance your sleep?! 🤗
