⚠️⚠️ As the days get hotter, and wedding season approaches, more people opt for a beautiful henna tattoo.
Black henna contains a dye, known as PPD (paraphenylenediamine), which gives it a black colour and allows it to last longer.
Levels of PPD in black henna are very high, and can cause allergic reactions.
Once you are allergic to PPD you will also develop reactions to any hair dye that contains it. PPD is also found in clothing, sock, and shoe dyes. There is also a possibility of cross-reactions to black rubber mix, benzocaine, parabens, PABA sunscreens, and azo dyes.
👩⚕️ This beautiful henna tattoo is brown-red, it will last for less time, but will not leave you with longterm allergies. 👍
