I still don’t trust the Glogo enough. It‘s light and with the same OS-Speed as in my Goblin, the Glogo delivers much more power. But it has so many quirks. It took me months and gallons to come to a setup where the cyclic feels right. Tank is leaking now and replacement parts, at least the needed grommet, are nowhere to be found. I don‘t like the look without a canopy, but mounting the canopy is such a hassle. So I got magnetic mounts, but they are humming because of vibrations and even though I made two flights no problem, I don’t trust them to hold the canopy at place.
I spent months mostly flying the Glogo, playing with it to make it right, which in itself is the interesting part of the hobby, but when I took the Goblin to the field as well last weekend and flew them both back to back, what a difference, Goblin is so much more precise, smoother, trustworthy.
You might see this as rambling, and maybe it is, but to me the fiddling with setups, discovering flaws, making my own mistakes on the way and thus learning more, it’s one of the things that makes this hobby interesting.
