This is throwbacks to exactly a year ago. I had just started working with ballpoint, just started drawing with my right hand and was generally experimenting with style and technique. This is before I started learning how to use my tools and how the medium works.
I wanted to show you this because I frequently get asked how to improve your work and my answer is always to keep practicing and experimenting. It’s what makes the entire difference. The journey to progress might feel daunting and disheartening, but it’s worth it. Just take one step at the time and wee where you end up. When it comes to art, it’s about the journey, not the destination.
