Show up fearfulness, and prove your braveness! ✨
Fear and anxiety are normal reactions, our brain signaling us of potential danger. Or perhaps just of things outside of our comfort zone, awkward things that will push and prod and grow us.
That process isn’t always fun- in fact, it’s normally quite scary. It’s the feeling of standing in front of an unknown wilderness that’s cloaked in fog, and knowing that there is nowhere to go but forward. Fear is that dreadful, hollow, paralyzing feeling, but bravery is taking the first step into that unknown, despite the fear. You don’t have to be fearless, you just can’t let fear stop you from chasing what you want.
And the results might not be perfect. But perfection isn’t- and shouldn’t-be the goal.
Even now, I sometimes feel the fear creep in whenever I send an important message or an email, or have to stop and take a deep breath right before I hit that ‘send’ button. But I’m doing the dang thing anyway. Scared, but still brave. Anxious, yet courageous. Flawed, but we’re trying. That’s what makes us human.
If you’ve made it this far, just remember: you’re doing great, and you can do it, and you deserve McD’s French fries 🍟🤗 I wish you all a brilliant week ahead, my friends! 🕊✨✨✨
