Oops. Who else is guilty? 🙋🏻‍♀️ What might happen if we confidently asked for what we needed and wanted, since that’s the only way anything ever gets accomplished... not to mention the only way we can feel fully seen, heard, validated, loved, and valued. ✨

Happy Friday!! Hope everyone has a BOOTIful weekend. (I know I’m not that funny lol 😂) . This is a great workout for when you don’t feel like doing anything too heavy or intense but still want movements that burn and feel good. These exercises also can be done before leg day for glute activation, but I wouldn’t do as many reps. These really fire up those glutes! . The Exercises + Form Tips: . 1️⃣ Glute Bridge: Feet are hip-width apart & calves are as close to your body as they can be. Make sure to squeeze your gluten at the top and engage your core. 2️⃣ Clam Shells: Keep your feet stacked and in line with your hips. Keep your hand on your hip to make sure that you don’t rock forward and you keep it stabilized. Depending on the strength of your band, the height you are able to lift your leg will vary. 3️⃣ Donkey Kicks: Your knees should be under your hips and your knees bent. Minimize the arch in your back as well as you can! 4️⃣: Straight Leg Pulse: Same form as the donkey kicks, except you’re going to try to keep that leg in a straight line with the rest of your body. . ✨🗣 HERE’S WHY THIS PICTURE MATTERS SO MUCH: When I was young, I kept a running list in my head of everything that was wrong with me physically. ✨ I would start at the top of my head and work my way down. Hair, frizzy, curly, unmanageable. Skin, covered in acne. Eyelids, too heavy. Eyes, too brown, and took weak (needed glasses). Nose, too big, too bumpy. Mouth, too small. Teeth, too crooked (needed braces, twice). Chin, too weak. Jaw, nonexistent. And it continued all the way down. And all the way in. ✨ I would never have posted this picture. Me, no makeup, no blowout, fresh out of therapy and a workout back to back. I certainly would never have told you about that secret list of flaws, either. But here I am: 37 today, my birthday, in my groove and totally unafraid to show up as me, unedited. ✨ Today I start a new list. This time of everything I am grateful for. Starting from the head down, of course. Hair, fucking fabulous. Skin, glowing thanks to all the water I’m finally drinking. Eyes, bright and big and beautiful with 20/20 vision (thanks LASIK). Nose, full of fresh air and life, despite the deviated septum and bump thank you very much. Mouth, the perfect outlet for this big voice of mine. Teeth, straight enough to showcase my immense gratitude, happiness and joy through a smile. Chin, cute. Jaw, mine. And on and on, all the way down, and all the way in. ✨ I’m so profoundly grateful. Here’s to another week of working on my own goals, building my own dreams, working on my own terms from where I want, when I want with who I want. Extremely grateful for my business that when I need to fly home to be with my loved ones I can book a flight and go without worrying if I have enough leave or if I’ll get paid while I’m away. FRIDAY VIBES // Never forget the importance of BALANCE. You cannot be 100% in one single direction 100% of the time aka trying to stack your bank account or loose that last 5lbs. At some point you will burn out, get bored, plateau or just turn straight crazy! When you feel out of alignment, acknowledge it, and DO something about it. Whatever that balance is, it’s so important to find your equilibrium. Yes some days and weeks will be crazy and hectic and full of surprises, but don’t let those weeks turn into months, months into years. Time is priceless. It sets my soul on fire 🔥 Currently I’m sitting out on Starbucks patio, waiting for a discovery call. . The first discovery session I had with a client made me decide personal training was my passion. . I sat down with her, we went through what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat, why to eat, what resistance training was, all the educational pieces, etc,. . That is not what got me.. . That night she texted me, telling me how she was scared, and disappointed in herself for letting it go this far. She also mentioned not continuing the program because of this overwhelming fear and self doubt she had. . I felt I was her best friend. She was telling me stories, and information about herself I felt she did not share with anyone else. We eventually got through the conversation and I helped coach her through all of her struggles, and all of here fears. She also became a really close friend to me. . Moral of my story is, I am here to help you. I love you no matter where you are or where you’ve been. What you can do, or what you cannot (currently) do. My duty is to be the best that I can be at sharing my struggles, and strengths and coaching you through yours. I’m here to be your friend, and show you tough love when it is needed. . New to fitness or not, I’m here to help coach you on the knowledge, the steps, and the support. . Are we getting sick of the twirling? It’s such a great way to show the way a garment moves (read: I am not getting sick of the twirling). What makes the difference between some people finding success with the HCG diet and those who don’t? MAINTENANCE!! So many have done the HCG diet yet have no idea about Phase 3: The Maintenance phase. It’s thee most important phase of the diet. This is the time your body recognizes the new weight as your “regular” weight. This is achieved by staying within 2lbs. +/- of your final weight for a minimum of six weeks. . Once done correctly you can incorporate carbs back into your regular diet again without regaining the weight.
