Brussel Sprouts with Garlic, Bacon, and Chicken. Filling, no fancy ingredients, and so good! Two handfuls of Brussel Sprouts Clove of Garlic 6 Strips of Bacon 1.5 Cups Rotisserie/Cooked Chicken Salt/Pepper/Red Pepper Flakes/Garlic Powder Cook bacon in pan while shredding chicken on the side. When the bacon is done, put aside to cool and use the bacon grease to cook garlic at lower temp. After the garlic is soft, bring med/high heat and add brussel sprouts and spices. Mix well and cover pan (mixing occasionally) until brussel sprouts are soft but have a crunch. You may have to add oil here if it all gets absorbed. Cut up bacon and mix in along with chicken without a lid until brussel sprouts are browned. Lid can come off earlier in the process too. Avocado toast (bagels) 9.5g carbs for the whole plate! . Bagels: 2 Oz cream cheese 2 1/2 cup mozzarella microwave for 2 minutes stirring 1/2 way Add 1 egg Add 1 1/2 cups almond flour Add 1 tbsp baking powder Mix well and knead until dough is well mixed. Cut into 6 even pieces, roll each piece like a play-dough snake and met then ends (like a bagel) Bake at 400 for 10-14 minutes. Top with avocado (100g) (smushes with a bit of salt) Tomatoes (50g) Bacon Eggs your way! I like mine over easy. Edit: I originally posted this recipe to say “ 2 1/2 cups almond flour” which is what I added, and it’s made with only 1 1/2 cups. The recipe suggest oiling your hands if it’s too sticky. I didn’t have that problem bc I added extra almond flour. Day 1 is done ✅ stuck to my calories/macros, got a good workout in and did my 60 total minutes of cardio (30 immediately after my workout and 30 later). Tomorrow I’ll do the first 30 fasted first thing to make it count a little more but overall I did pretty good today. The workout plan I’m on is just a generic 12 week fat loss plan (M&S’s summer Burn: 12 Week Fat Melting Workout if anyone is curious) and having tried it two days last week I knew it’d be a good fit. It’s meant to keep your heart rate up since rest times are low and every exercise is either a dropset or supersetted with another... it whoops my ass but it gets the job done. As for my caloric intake, I know I’m going to get flack for setting it so low. I got those numbers by calculating my BMR/TDEE then aiming for a 2 lb deficit per week just on diet alone (in order to reach my goal of 150 by 8/19 I need to lose approximately 2.87 lbs/week), figuring that exercise would take care of the rest. If I find that I’m dropping weight too fast then I’ll bring it up a little but for now this’ll do.

Recipe adapted from @jens_macros  I was inspired to bring back my protein skillet cookie. It was the perfect treat to end my night! Plus I used my new cast iron pan! I promise I tastes good. Ignore the color (you will have a nicer looking golden cookie if you use applesauce instead of blueberry sauce!) Recipe: -36g protein powder (I used @pescience  peanut butter cookie) -2g baking powder -60g egg whites -one small container (112g) of unsweetened blueberry sauce (I usually use applesauce but had ran out!) Topped with 10g of Hershey’s mini chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 mins! 😍😋 #macrofriendlyrecipes

Rice Turkey Patties ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8oz extra lean ground turkey 1/2 cooked brown rice 1/4 diced no salt added tomatoes 1 egg 1/2 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp minced garlic 1/2 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (or more 😉) ~~~ Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix well 3. Shape patties and place on parchment lined baking pan 4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes 5. 1 1/4 Rep Hip Thrusts This is probably one of my favorite Hip Thrust Variations! You know how you have a love/hate relationship with Bulgarian Split Squats? I have the same relationship with these. 😫😍 Each rep is: One full rep, 1/4 way down, back up to the top, all the way down again= one full rep 🔥 I will typically work in the 12-20 Range with these. I also like doing these on the Smith Machine (great variation for pregnant mamas!) Since I will be locking my glutes at full extension 24-40 times- I’ll typically work in the Weight Range of 155-175 lbs and this is killer! I get a lot of questions about my setup for hip thrusts: 1️⃣Grab an aerobics step and 4-5 risers for each side. Set it up against a wall or on a surface it won't slide. 2️⃣ Place a barbell centered in front of the bench and load each side with plates large enough that you can roll over your legs. I use at least 45 lb plates. Place a @hamptonfit  extra thick barbell pad around the middle of the barbell. (This is a non negotiable for me) 3️⃣Sit in front of bench, with the bench lined up with the bottom of your shoulder blades. Roll the barbell over your legs and adjust your feet so that at the top of the movement your shins are vertical to the floor. Play with your feet placement to see where you feel glutes he most. I do well with feet a little wider than shoulder width, toes out slightly! 4️⃣Push through the heels, core tight, and drive your hips up with your chin tucked and your gaze forward. (Think sternum !) 5️⃣Make sure that the barbell is resting in between your hip bone and pubic bone! 6️⃣At the top of the movement, SQUEEZE your 🍑 , while maintaining a neutral spine. 7️⃣Lower the weight with control, keeping tension in the glutes the entire time. 8️⃣With the hex plates, I don’t like touching the bar the ground, so I use the constant tension method where the barbell never touches the ground. Here’s the full workout I did: 1️⃣ 1 1/4 Hip Thrusts: 4 x 15 2️⃣ Barbell RDLs 4 x 10 3️⃣ DB High Step Ups 4 x 10 4️⃣ Cable Standing Glute Kickback 4 x 15 each side 5️⃣ Banded Side Lying Clams Frog Pumps 🐸 AMPRAP x 3 Let me know if you try! ❤️
