When you are struggling or tired of pushing yourself or when it seems impossible, you will want to quit. When you reach that point, be careful who you talk to. Most people will give you permission to quit. They don't want to see you struggle or worse yet, they may not want to see you succeed. In either case, you don't need to listen to them. The only people who truly succeed, never give up until they do. There is a long list of people who failed many times before they succeeded. What's the difference? Why did they eventually succeed? Perseverance. Day after day. Pushing themselves to do the work they may not want to do to achieve the goal. To keep adapting, improvising, so they can overcome. *
Now, I am talking about this concept in the context of achieving goals, dreams, etc. I am in no way talking about situations in which you should walk away. You also shouldn't keep "banging your head against a wall" if there truly is nothing you can do differently. However, in a lot of cases, we give ourselves excuses and justification to give up too early. The key is knowing when to keep going, trying different actions AND knowing when to walk away. There are times we should change course. But is that really quitting or is it simply adapting?
Peace. Be blessed.
