Got the Monday feels?! Here’s a helpful checklist. ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ P.s. one of my most fav rituals for calming my mind and getting back to the present moment (instead of the past or the future where overwhelm tends to live) is a body scan. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When we feel stressed, it’s common to carry tension in the body. Doing a body scan helps me notice what I’m feeling and where, and relieve stress. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s how I do it: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Close your eyes and sit (or lay) in a comfortable position. 2️⃣ Starting with your head, notice where any tension lives. Are the eyes sore? Is your head achy? Are your shoulders stiff? Is your jaw tight? Notice the sensations without judgement and breathe into and relax the tense spots. Visualize that you’re blowing the tension out through a straw. Take a deep exhale if you need to. 3️⃣ Once you feel ready and more relaxed, move slowly down to each area of your body, group by group: chest, arms, stomach, sacral, legs, feet, etc. Notice sensations, breathe into tension, and release by blowing through the invisible straw or taking a deep exhale. 4️⃣ Massage any areas that want extra care, and remind yourself that “I am safe” and “I can handle this.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5️⃣ When complete, slowly wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tip: When you’re short for time, notice and breathe into the specific spot where you feel tension in the body, instead of moving group by group. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here’s to a Present Monday 💕

Everyone wants to become the best version of themselves, but few actually do it. Get out there and take action. Don’t fear failure! Failure is needed because that’s when valuable insights are learned that can drive you to become highly successful in life. You don’t just happen to stumble upon the best version of yourself. There is no miraculous shortcut to the better version of yourself. You need to start from the beginning and take a high number of small steps in order to become what you envision. Accept help from other people. Don’t let your pride get in the way. Most successful people needed help along the way, too. Believe in yourself. You are worthy of your dream life. Be authentic and remember who you are, accept that you can’t please everyone, and be comfortable with every decision you make. - #herincrediblemindset

You believe your partner should provide your happiness 4. You feel anxious, paranoid, or fearful when separated 5. You believe if your partner “loved” you they’d never hurt you 6. You accept poor behavior over and over again with a belief that some day things will change 7. You jump quickly from relationship to relationship or completely are completely closed off to them 8. Sun-Moon-Earth Alchemy . An advanced Taoist meditation practice is called Sun-Moon-Earth Alchemy. Other meditations that focus on our internal landscape balance the energy of the vital organs. This meditation is different in that the five elements (or five phases of energy) are represented as their natural counterparts. This meditation builds an energetic bridge between the human body and the body of the earth. . The alchemist breathes in the wood element by relating to forests and all things that grow. He resonates with the fire of lava and the passions of humans and animals, and the sun. The planet Earth itself embodies the earth element at this level. The metal element is represented by clouds, metals inside the earth, and the descending energy of waterfalls. The water element is embodied by rivers, lakes, the oceans, and the deep memory of the collective energy field. . The mind attempts to see the world in a way that reaffirms its conditioning. When it interacts with new events it immediately connects them with familiar events of the past, creating a pathway for old thoughts and emotions to resurface to the concious level of the mind. The mind is first allowing the past to react to what is happening now, which not only strengthens the old pattern that comes up but limits our ability to observe things objectively with a fresh and balanced perspective. Essentially, the present is categorized and understood through its similarity to the past. Our ability to clearly observe and respond to the present is enhanced when we begin to actively cultivate the mind through a technique that can release the patterns of the past, like an effective form of meditation. With effort and patience we can give ourselves the moment we need to come back to the present and live life in a new way. Sending love to all beings. Yoğun duygulanımda o coşkun an bir süre sonra diner ve daha sakin daha kontrollü bir hale kavuşuruz. Kafamız karışıkken, kaygılıyken de zihnimizde birçok düşünce uçuşur. Onlara kapılmadan onların birer düşünce olduğunu fark edip, kabul edebilir, sadece onları izler ve biraz zaman tanırsak daha dingin bir zihin bizi karşılıyor. Çocuklar yoğun duygularla karşılaştıklarında kar küresi zihni ve duygulanımı somutlaştırmak için harika bir araçtır. Çocuklarla önce kar küresini farkındalıkla inceleyebilir, üzerine konuşabilirsiniz. Sonrasında duygularımızı ve düşüncelerimizi örnekleyerek, stres yaratan bir durum olduğunda aynı bir kar küresi gibi zihnimizin karıştığını, kar küresini sallayarak anlatabilirsiniz. Sakinlik halinin ve yoğun duygulanım halinin bedensel hislerini ve düşünceleri konuşarak onları sim taneleriyle somutlaştırabilirsiniz... Unutulmaması gerekir ki bazen suların durulması zaman alır, bazen daha çabuk olur ama mutlaka simler dibe çökecek, su berraklaşacaktır. ✨Guidance for the week of August 19th to 25th/ Tirage pour la semaine du 19 au 25 août✨ 🇨🇦This week the message is pretty clear: let's cultivate a sense of peace and calm inside of us, like an anchor we can hold on to if we are caught in a storm. The energies are very conducive to this practice so I invite you to try to create that energetic space in your heart as often as you can this week and perhaps to continue on regularly. It may be easier to start practicing in a quiet environment and then to remember that that inner sanctuary is available to you at any time during the day, especially in challenging circumstances. It is recommended this week to also slow down the pace: we are integrating a lot of information through the crown chakra and this process may tiring to the physical body. Slowing down doesn't mean doing nothing though, so use your energy wisely to create and manifest things that are meaningful to you. . 🇫🇷Cette semaine, le message est assez clair: cultivons un sentiment de paix et de calme intérieur, comme une ancre à laquelle nous pouvons nous accrocher si nous sommes pris dans une tempête. Les énergies étant très propices à cette pratique, je vous invite donc à essayer de créer cet espace énergétique dans votre cœur aussi souvent que vous le pouvez cette semaine et peut-être à continuer régulièrement. Il peut être plus facile de commencer à pratiquer dans un environnement calme et de se rappeler ensuite que ce sanctuaire intérieur est à votre disposition à tout moment de la journée, en particulier dans des conditions difficiles. Il nous est conseillé aussi cette semaine de ralentir le rythme: nous intégrons beaucoup d'informations au travers du chakra couronne et ce processus peut être fatigant pour le corps physique. Cependant ralentir ne veut pas dire ne rien faire, utilisez donc votre énergie avec sagesse pour créer et manifester des choses qui ont un sens pour vous.

Most of us don’t know what to do with ourselves if we are not working, doing, or thinking about the next thing. . . The opposite of busy is present. Presence allows us to make deeper connections with others, have a greater sense of acceptance of our circumstances, and to help us to enjoy life more fully. . . How will you be more present today?

𖤝 ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Is true empathy for others possible without personal suffering? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Suffering as a concept can be beautiful. It breaks down our ego (sense of self), helps us see the world and our role in it differently and ultimately helps us grow in our spiritual journey. In practice however, it just plain sucks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One of the most profound outputs of suffering can be empathy. Empathy for ourselves initially, but then, empathy for others.
