Are you charging enough for your products?
💸 You could be leaving money on the table, or even worse, actually losing money if you aren’t pricing your products accurately.
It’s not uncommon for female creatives to feel uncomfortable asking for payment for their products and designs, or feeling a spell of imposter syndrome so they will underprice 🤷🏻
But here’s the thing, in underpricing your products you:
🔻 Hurt your bottom line. Narrow gross margins leave you with not very much to reinvest in inventory, grow your business, let alone cover expenses.
🔻 Create a low perceived value. You could lead to potential customers wondering if there is something wrong with your product if the price does not match the anticipated value.
🔻 You may end up playing in a quantity game! Low prices, means lower average order value, means you have to make double the number of sales as someone with a product double the price. HECK NO you don’t need that!
It might be time for you to get out of the low price, low margin sandpit ⚡
