Jodi Bilske is lives in the Top End of the Northern Territory. With the stunning beauty of places like Kakadu, Litchfield, Katherine and the Kimberley’s at her doorstep, she’s made the most of her location, opening a successful gallery.
Not satisfied with just shooting in the NT, her portfolio includes many amazing scenes from national parks all across Australia.
We love this aerial shot of Dales Gorge taken in Karijini National Park in WA. It reminds us of the cross section of an agate crystal!
So what in life is beautiful to Jodi? “As a photographer the most beautiful thing is the small peaceful moment after climbing to the top of an escaprment, when you can just breathe and appreciate the incredible country we live in.” I think most landscape photographers can relate to this exact moment. When you stop looking for the best composition. When you stop worrying about the fading light. When you stop thinking about what lens to use, what filters to attach, what exposure settings will work best. When you just soak it all in and enjoy being in the present moment. 📷 @jodibilske_photographics
