Throwback to Mazikeen before I rescued her, yes, that was how they used to hold her, on the second photo she was clearly uncomfortable and afraid as well.
The last two photos are from now, about a year later, I posted one of her with long hair and another one with shorter hair, I like to keep her with short hair because she is still afraid of people and I don't like to stress her with daily grooming.
Mazikeen was rescued from a family that wanted to trade her for birds because according to them, their youngest kid was afraid of her, thanks to a friend of mine who really knows how to talk to people like that, they ended up accepting to re-home her to us instead.
She was extremely dirty, with poop stuck to her paws and genitalia, because of that she also had an infection there and didn't even eat, luckily after 7 days of medication she finally got back to normal and started eating a lot again.
Her hair had knots everywhere and her nails were long and broken.
Rabbits are not easy or cheap pets, they are actually one of the most high maintenance pets I've ever had, they need space, a good and balanced diet with lots of hay, daily cleaning and attention, neutering/spaying and a lot more!
Consider everything before you get one.
