Today, I competed at Top Lifter IV in the -64kg division and went 7/9 lifts for a 356kg total. It was an incredibly fast meet – I stepped on the platform at 10:55am, and pulled my last deadlift at 12:40pm. There were a few bittersweet moments with a few tears, but overall I am proud of what I bought to the platform. Before I get into the nitty-gritty, I want to say a huge thank you to the best coach and handler around – @joe_barbellmedicine.  Stay tuned for a full meet recap! 🥇

15/9/2019 W1D4 on 5/3/1 Squat day: 82.5kgx5, 90kgx5 (misloaded the bar), 110kg AMRAP (wanted 10 but only had 5 in my tank, strength was there my mind wasn’t) Then 82.5kgx3x8 to end the sesh. Really need to work on mind-body-soul nourishment thing. Think they looked good, but I am looking for improvement. This is something that I'm constantly having to tell myself, and then remind myself more, and then I still feel guilty for not working. It's ok to take a break, binge-watch some Netflix, nap, play a video game, watch a film- or in my case, read a book or spend hours trying to improve my budget guitar skills. I can't remember a time where I didn't feel a constant pressure to be doing something- to be busy in some way, always working. I have such high aspirations and so many goals and things I want to achieve, I sometimes struggle to come to grips with not doing something all of the time- even though I know I'm more productive and produce better work when I've given myself time to relax and do other things. Shout out to my client and homey @jazzyrader22  . I can’t even cover everything she’s accomplished since starting with me in January. She’s an entirely different lifter, stronger, eats more, weighs 20lbs less and has far more consistent lifts, and form. The form consistency and better understanding of RPE/RIR, has really helped her break through to another level with far less pain and little to no injuries. She’s entering her last week of hard training before the meet that @firehouseabilene  Is hosting at @sockdolagerbc  . She is working with old squat and deadlift PRs in training. She’s putting the technique work in bench which has been stubborn for her. But her technique focus will pay off more in the post meet hypertrophy block. За жалост не спечелих нищо от това състезание, но това въобще не го чувствам така! Това което спечелих бе цялата емоция, самото преживяване и самия хъс да продължа да се натискам до това да видя какво още ще мога да постигна и до това да не спирам да правя нещата, които обичам и които ми носят такова огромно щастие и удовлетворение! Искам всички това да ви подтикна да не се отказвате и неща като - "Те ще ме разбият на това състезание... Те ще ме разкъсат.... Аз въобще какво ще правя там..." - изобщо да не сте оставили да ви попречат! Винаги трябва да дадете всичко от себе си и да се надграждате ден след ден и да се подобрявате във всичко и да прогресирате все повече към ВАШАТА, ЛИЧНА по-добра или най-добра ВЕРСИЯ! Имайте хъса и силата да не се отказвате и да не се спирате, защото само вие самите имате тази способност да го правите, само вие можете да си дадете ограничения. Изключително съм доволен от себе си и от това че събрах смелостта да се пусна на такъв тип състезание въпреки факта, че съм прекалено слаб за него (ЗАСЕГА 💪😂), но ще давам, ще надграждам все повече и определено ще се пусна отново на силов трибой 🙏💪. Först utrustad bänk. 125kg⚪⚪⚪ 130kg🔴🔴🔴(film 1) 132,5kg⚪⚪⚪ Första tävlingen ✅ Klassisk bänk sen. 85kg⚪⚪⚪ 90kg🔴🔴🔴 90kg⚪⚪⚪(film 2) Andra tävlingen idag✅ Det var roligt, mycket folk som kämpade bra och jag är nöjd med mitt tangerade tävlingspb på 90kg & nya tävlingspb i tröjbänken på 132,5 kg. Tack @vaisstyrkelyft  för tävlingen och snyggt kämpat alla klubbkompisar💪.
