🇳🇿NEW ZEALAND CONSTRUCTION HISTORY🇳🇿 The Bridge of Remembrance, Christchurch is dedicated to those who died in World War I, and serves as a memorial for those who participated in two World Wars as well as subsequent conflicts in Borneo, Korea, Malaya, and Vietnam.

The memorial was unveiled on 11 November 1924, Armistice Day.
Sadly when the 2011 Earth Quakes struck Christchurch there was some damage to The bridge, and repairs had to be done and it re-opened to the public on Anzac Day, Monday 25 April 2016.
It is a magnificent sight and a great peace of Christchurch and New Zealand's Construction history. #contructionhistory
