An evening walk.
Life in Badrinath is really different with no or really low internet connectivity.
I don't know as I am writing this post, when will it actually get uploaded.
But yes some time away from internet has actually made me notice and absorb nature and its beauty in its purest form.
Looking at those mighty himalayas I realized we are soooo small in front of mother nature and yet we think we are so big.
Here at Badrinath, I noticed people throwing garbage just anywhere, there is a hiking areas full of only garbage, sad sight. Then people have opened sever lines directly into the Alaknanda River. Like really? Shouldnt there be different methods of garbage and even home waste?
It's high time we start loving and respecting our mother nature before it becomes angry again. Because if it does then no one can save us.
I just couldn't help compare this area with Meghalayas. There is village even there, villagers even there, tourists even there.. But its such a clean state.. How?? I didn't see any garbage just lying anywhere there.
In contrast, Badrinath is a pilgrimage place, locals or pilgrims should be taking double care of this place but its really the opposite.
Sad but true.
Government with the help of people will have to do something about it really soon, before mother nature decides to cast another spell on such beautiful places.
