It may be half way through the week but I’m still thinking about this amazing dinner @gigglingsquid I had at the weekend! Such a pretty Thai tapas restaurant with such delicious food oozing so much flavour & freshness!🇹🇭 🌸🍛.
All 3 courses were equally enjoyed! But we knew we was in for a treat from the start with amazing raw tuna in a lemongrass & lime sauce! Ginger lime salmon morsels & a classic fave of mine, dried shrimp papaya salad done so well! 🍤.
Before incredible mains to share with the juiciest giant butterfly king prawn pad Thai, and the banana leaf grilled sea bass, both so fresh & so flavoursome! 🐟 Along with a mini Thai green curry so we could have a taster for next time and sides of pak choi & tenderstem in oyster sauce & organic riceberry rice! A new rice I hadn’t tried before but loved with a real nutty flavour that went so well with all the sauces! 🍛.
And dessert was just amazing with 4 traditional Thai ice creams flavours of black sesame, jasmine & toasted rice, pineapple & lychee yoghurt they were all such unique, fresh & exotic flavours! I couldn’t even decide my favourite but I loved the texture of the jasmine with toasted rice pieces in it! 🍨.
Overall I loved the food here as it’s hard to find a good Thai! And the service was great particularly from our waiter Mark who was so knowledgeable and passionate about the food and passed on lots of tips from his Thai background! Thanks so much for a great night! 🇹🇭🌸🍛.
