Hello 👋. It's been a year and a half since my last introduction. Sooo.... Hey, how are you? My name is Skye Rayburn and I'm the human behind Isle of Skye Studio. Nope, I've never been. But, I would really love to visit. I always hear such wonderful things about it. It is my namesake, and that's why I chose it for this thing I do. I'm situated in North Texas and have been here the majority of my life. I was born in that weird gap between Gen Xer's and Millennials. I have a hard time socializing. Yep, I'm an introvert. *Don't ask me about my MyersBriggs or similar test types. I don't buy into it and get really upset when companies force employees to do them.* 😬 Where was I? Introvert, yes, I hate small talk. Is there anything more uncomfortable at a party? I try to attend when I'm invited to them, but man, the day of, I am full of anxiety and when I get there, I wish I was home. I really love one-on-one interaction. Invite me to coffee or lunch, and I am so there!! What else... I'm hard of hearing, and have been since birth. I even know some ASL, since I was also in the Deaf Ed program throughout schooling. No need to shout, just speak clearly and make sure I can see your mouth when you are talking to me. I have a degree in Fashion Design and worked for Dickies and Jcp Corp. for 10+ years. I've got a wonderful guy and kiddo. I've been doing this gig since 2015, I think 🤔. It's evolving. Lots of experimenting and I'm still figuring things out. But I'm really glad you're along for the ride. I really appreciate the likes and comments, and I love interacting with you folks. I REALLY can't wait for QuiltCon 2020. I'm so looking forward to meeting some of you guys in person! Thank you 🙏☺️.
