An adventurous turn of events this afternoon.
With my usual companions away on their own adventures I set off on the traditional Wednesday quest into the wild alone. I was met with several foes along the way and narrowly escaped with my life!
The first of these I encountered in the hills to the north a giant serpent of near deathly black color with patterns of brown on his back. I came across him lying in wait to devour whom he may. Though at first determined to stand his ground, he quickly fled away in fear when I stood over him and bellowed with an echoing battle roar!
My second brush with danger occurred along the banks of the tranquil waterway Francois. One of the hated and feared dark water serpents lay on the path sunning himself. However, having heard of my victory over his cousin to the north, and seeing my agression, he slowly moved to the side and allowed me to pass. He carefully eyed me but was surely intimidated by my large, gruff, lumbering figure.
My last encounter though not nearly as dangerous as the first two was equally amusing. While crossing the last Bridge on the path back to civilization, I found myself ambushed by a pack of bandits! Though small they are fierce and their numbers are great. Upon finding that I was not an easy target they barked and growled at me and scampered around in chaos. Phhahaha their little black masks and sheepish barks didn't scare me, we both knew I could easily overpower them. So I carefully picked my way through their midst without turning my back until I had passed.
Safely back from the wild, I report this to you be warned there are dangerous creatures out there. Be big, be intimidating, be safe.
