We often forget to thank the ones who unconditionally and consistently give us everything possible they can. Same like we forget to thank trees like these. I always wonder the fact that, out of all the beauties why these trees fascinate me! May be, they are trying to teach me and make me realize how ungrateful I am.
We all have time for ourselves and for our loved ones. Only if we skip a few minutes on social media we can garner all the cherishing moments! We all have a few seconds to hug our mom and appreciate today's lunch. We all have 2 seconds to pass on a smile to our kaam-wali. We all have 15 minutes before shower to exercise, and 15 minutes before bed to read something good. It's also the way to thank the body we live in, and the mind we use to exist. But, nope, we ain't doing that! We all have that one message unanswered in our inbox, from a long lost friend, or may be from the one we don't even consider as our friend. We all have that one long-due call to do to that friend, who tries hard to keep in touch, and we seem so reluctant. It's somewhere in our mind, but we just don't. But it's their right to get the concern back. To get the love back. To get the attention back. Because they have invested their time, their emotions in you. And even if you don't FEEL the same amount of affection, they DESERVE your concern at least. Because, in life, at a point when you will have no work, and a spare day to think, you will find no one to talk! And that should scare you.
It takes nothing to be ungrateful, but everything not to be. And that, we should learn. It's the time! May be, we'll create a better society! . . 📷: @gauri_109
