Polar bears are probably the most fascinating creature I ever saw. They are some of the strongest animals on earth, they are killing machines designed to survive polar winters, they can run faster than you can drive in town, they can kill in one movement. But at the same time, they are also one of the most vulnerable species. Our climate is rapidly changing, and the effects are even faster on the poles. Some specialists claim that the ice cap may be gone in a decade. It was heart breaking to see such beautiful nature creations, letting us observe them without harming us, and thinking about the climate change they are about to face. Not many shootings made me think for days. Not many shootings made me cry. But for sure this encounter will stay a part of me.
