Actually got a good night’s rest last night so went and lifted some weights this morning. . I’m planning on sticking to a couple days a week doing more cardio centered workouts (likely spin for the most part), so my weightlifting is likely going to switch from doing focused muscle group days to full body days instead. With giving up a few lifting days to cardio, full body will allow me to still hit all my muscles and I’m not aiming to be a bodybuilder so it’s all good in the hood! Slowly going to work on building up the muscle strength that I sacrificed while training for the sprint and building up my aerobic endurance. . Humid as heck today. Having a go with the 55kg dumbbells, seems to be a very slight incline on these "flat" benches but not completely against it, seemed to make it feel even heavier than expected but 4 rocky and semi ugly reps?? Es algo común en muchos BOX’s ver a compañeros de entreno que nada más acabar una sesión bastante dura de entrenamiento, pretenden irse sin más justo al acabar. En este caso, es evidente que se pierde una oportunidad de oro en la que puede activar la recuperación desde el mismo momento en que acaba y mejorar a largo plazo el rendimiento global como atleta. Se entiende que hay personas que su tiempo es muy limitado y no disponen de todo el que querían para dedicar al entrenamiento. No te pierdas la fase de enfriamiento y los estiramientos Durante un entrenamiento en la que se ha requerido mucho esfuerzo, los desechos metabólicos provocados están almacenados en el cuerpo viajando a las células musculares que se hayan implicado. El líquido que alrededor de ellos, así como capilares, venas, etc.. necesitan ser ‘purificados’ antes del período de descanso. Al acabar un WOD y levantarte del suelo, tu primer pensamiento debe ser el de permanecer en movimiento de manera relajada. De esta forma, conseguimos que poco a poco nuestro ritmo cardíaco vaya volviendo a la normalidad. En caso contrario, si eres de repente y no tomas un tiempo para ‘volver a la calma’, su ritmo cardíaco se reduce drásticamente y puede causar mareos e incluso desmayos. Después de haber logrado restaurar el ritmo cardíaco, usted puede comenzar a trabajar la movilidad de su cuerpo. Estirar inmediatamente después de un entrenamiento es importante ya que los músculos están todavía calientes y flexibles, lo que facilita la realización de ejercicios de estiramiento por otro lado, el aumento en el nivel de flexibilidad de los músculos. De la misma manera, tener los músculos más flexibles le permitirá tener un mejor rendimiento y el rango de movimiento en la mayoría de los ejercicios. Por último, recordar que la fase de enfriamiento y estiramiento después del WOD son los principales componentes que previenen o reducen la aparición de terribles’cordones’. Just like to do a little review on my thoughts of the Blackstone Labs BCAA. Ill eat and drink just about anything 🤣. But just to be honest the flavor is a bit of a strange one. Its palatable and drinkable ( but is an acquired taste ) I have been taking it first thing in the morning and directly after training. Its been about 3 weeks. Every training session im going heavier and more resistance. And the recovery is so good that i feel like i could train the same body parts the next day. ( and no its not cos im training like a baby ) I can honestly tell you i dont feel sore, stiff or over trained the next day. Volviendo a intentar la flexión de brazos en Handstand ! Requiere gran fuerza de brazos , la cual me falta trabajar más y un gran control del equilibrio y uso de bandhas , solo se logra adquirir esa sensación a través de la práctica ! No suelo practicar en la pared, se me olvida o me da pereza pero les aseguro que es un método muy útil tanto para el perfeccionamiento como para agarrar confianza y perder el miedo !!
