Just slowing things down and doing a little lifting this week. Just went in and did some bench press, back squats, and pull-ups tonight. Feels weird to slow things down and not have a bunch of metabolic conditioning or cardio mixed into my workout but I felt like it was time to take a little break from all the high intensity pounding. Last year I had a lot of overtraining injuries but this year I’ve been trying to listen to my body better and look at the big picture to stay healthy for the long haul.
